We’re on board the Bleuvet, off the coast of Les Bergeronnes. Before us are 150 belugas, all adults with the exception of one or two large gray animals (i.e. nearly adult), swimming in a single herd. DL1214 is in the company of six adults, including Nics, DL1996, DL0218, Écho and DL493. The belugas are heading toward the south shore. In the process of shooting our photos, we realize that the belugas are moving away from us and are becoming difficult to keep up with. We let them pursue their course and we continue ours.
