At the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord, we observe a herd of 40 belugas from aboard the Bleuvet. Some have white skin, others still gray. We also spot two calves and one newborn.
The animals are working their way upstream. As soon as they pass Cap à la Boule, they start going around in circles. Are they hunting? From our viewpoint, it’s difficult to say for sure. Nevertheless, their behaviour allows us to photograph them quite well. We recognize DL0370, who is swimming with seven adults and two juveniles.
