At the start of our day, we encounter a solitary beluga. We decide to continue our journey toward Rimouski, in search of larger numbers of these white whales. As it turns out, we’re lucky enough to cross paths with an enormous herd of about 200 animals! The herd is scattered over a considerable distance and divides into six smaller groups. The size of the individuals indicates that they are mostly males, including adults and juveniles. Among this mass of white backs, we recognize Solidaire, who is swimming with two other familiar bulls, Jetstream and Trèfle.
